ZServlet is a web to Z39.50 gateway for sessionless HTML display of information from a Z39.50 server. It is intended for use when needing to link to a single record from a reading list, acquisitions list, abstracting service, etc. where the overhead of a session-based gateway is not required. It is currently in use at Oxford University for all three of these services. It supports a variety of configurable URL syntaxes including OpenURL. - ZiNG
